Christian brings his twenty years of courtroom experience to our firm. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, probate litigation and appeals.

He received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1997. Before law school, he earned his undergraduate degree in anthropology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. During law school, he worked as an intern in the Boulder County District Attorney’s office, where he prosecuted his first jury trials, and served as an associate editor of the University of Colorado Law Review.

After law school, Christian served as a prosecutor in the Morgan County District Attorney’s office, and in 2001 he accepted a position prosecuting juvenile cases in the Weld County District Attorney’s office. He was soon promoted to prosecute felony crimes against children and other major felony cases, including murders. During his time as a prosecutor, he trained other attorneys in criminal law and trial practice. His last assignment before leaving the District Attorney's office included white collar crime, such as mortgage fraud, embezzlement, state tax fraud, securities fraud, and financial crimes against at-risk adults, particularly the victimization of the elderly by those in a position of trust. He also handled appeals.

Christian is a member of the Greeley Planning Commission and serves on the board of directors of the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce. Previously, he was a board member and board chair of A Kid’s Place, a board member of Island Grove Treatment Center, and a board member of North Range Behavioral Health. He has taught law enforcement officers, high school and college students, and the general public about constitutional law, attorney ethics, elder abuse, mortgage fraud and other topics.

Christian and his wife Heather live in Greeley with their three children.
